Understandably, there is severe scrutiny at the borders of the United States.
However, I would have expected that the bad-guy turn-out would be much higher than that (via Bruce Schneier).
So what on earth could be wrong with the system?
- There aren’t that many criminals crossing.
- The system scares the hell out of them out in the first place.
- The criminals are smart enough to find other ways into the US.
- Preventing criminals from entering the US is not the main objective of the system.
